Barre Class

A flowing combination of Ballet conditioning and Pilates. Our Barre classes are suitable for everyone; teachers will provide various options for each exercise.

We'll begin with a luxurious warm-up before moving through a workout that will get the whole body burning. Class finishes with a re-energising stretch and mini meditation. Expect to walk out sweaty, yet refreshed.


Barre Balletic

Barre is a flowing combination of Ballet conditioning and Pilates. This special class involves a stronger focus on the balletic elements of Barre. 

We'll begin with a dancerly warm-up in the centre of the room, before moving to the barre for a whole body workout. Class finishes with a flowing stretch and mini meditation. Expect to walk out with a soft sweat and a graceful step.


Barre & Stretch

Barre is a flowing combination of Ballet conditioning and Pilates. This class is full of luscious, full-body movements to make you feel good, with extra time to stretch at the end. 

We'll begin with a luxurious warm-up before moving through a workout for the whole body. Class finishes with a re-energising stretch and mini meditation. Expect to walk out feeling spacious and refreshed.

Move, Stretch, Breathe

A rejuvenating and restorative class that blends the magic of mindfulness, intuitive movement, and stretching.

We'll start with grounding breathwork before moving through flowing stretches and expansive movements to warm up on the mat. Next we'll do standing sequences of luxurious full body movements that blend dance conditioning with yoga flows. Class will finish back on the mat with longer-held stretches and a meditation to leave your mind as relaxed as your body. 

Pilates Flow

Pilates is an exercise methodology focusing on alignment, coordination, and whole-body strength. Move your body through all planes of motion, over this balanced class of controlled, strengthening movements. 

We'll begin with a luxurious warm-up before moving through a workout that will get the whole body burning. Class finishes with a re-energising stretch and mini meditation. Expect to walk out feeling reinvigorated in your mind, a post-Pilates burn in your muscles, and more ease through your joints.

Pilates Strength

Pilates Strength is our faster-paced, higher-intensity class. Expect heavier exercises, that are moved through with our signature sense of flow. 

We'll start with a fiery arm series, followed by strong leg and then core exercises. Each section is repeated 3 times, with optional challenges added each round. 

Class finishes with a re-energising stretch and mindful moment. Expect to walk out feeling invigorated.

Soft Ballet

Soft Ballet allows you to enjoy the feel-good flow and graceful glides of ballet in a friendly and relaxed environment. This is an intimate class, where the goal is to have fun! There will be none of the usual ballet crap (i.e. intimidating teachers, enforced gender binaries, or restrictive rules). 

Soft Ballet is suitable for absolute beginners up to intermediate practitioners. Come with two left feet, or some experience under your belt. Our teacher, Lee, is an amazing professional dancer, who loves connecting people with the joy of movement. They will help you find your own groove, whether you've come to learn the basics, lose yourself in dance, or enjoy the focused technicality of the practice.

Class Note:

Our classes in Carlton are suitable for everyone from complete beginners to advanced, long-time practitioners. Within our small, intimate studio environment, rest assured there will be an option to get you moving in the way you want on any given day. 

Our teachers are here to help you find ways to enjoy class, whether it's assistance working around an injury/condition, encouraging you to rest as needed or training you up to nail that double pirouette you've been working towards. Join us in Carlton at our Barre & Pilates studio.
